Event after event! I contemplated whether I should do a birthday special since we had such a long and successful Subathon in November. After some consideration, I decided to still write down some incentives and things to offer to my community, but prioritize collaborations for this event over my own content!

I was elated that there was positive to reception to it on Twitter. Thank you for interacting with it! A very special release is happening on 22nd January, with the new love interest, Caleb, releasing on Love and Deepspace on my actual birthday! I was so excited hearing his release date would coincide with my special day. I hope it'll be everything we hoped for and more!

V:DO had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with Tefuda Games, Toofus Bakes and Genesis Frontier to host this special Usada Pekora's Birthday Event! We held it alongside the Hololive OCG Tourney and had exclusive merchandise and food prepared for the occasion!

​@Minimal_Art designed the acrylic standee, badges, playmat and card sleeves, and set up the photo booth, while I designed the sticker set and hosted some event segments! A superfan, Keiji came by with his collection of Pekora merchandise and set up a nice shrine in front of the photo booth.

@Caturteer helped us with the backend needs and coordinated most of the IT stuff! Due some unforeseen complications, parts of the hosting segment were cut short, but we had an overall amazing time working with the Tefuda staff!

It's been more than a week since the new year began, and my throat is still worse for wear. Nonetheless, after some Pei Pa Kao treatment and resting my voice for a few days, I decided it was time to kick things off! Nothing crazy, I wanted to see how chat's been feeling! So I opened up an 'Ask Me Anything' through marshmallow.
There were some thoughtful and funny questions, I hope you all enjoyed my candid responses! I felt on hindsight that I gave quite a few non-answers. Forgive me for not being able to think speedily on the spot! The lack of sleep from working the past week is getting to me too. Let's have another great one tomorrow!

I faced a few rejections at the start of this year, and it's hard not to feel discouraged. But I want to remember that there are many things still in store and opportunities will also come when I build myself up more. (unfortunately, it's still always a numbers game in this space). Despite this, I want to have fun and focus on the good. I want to take pride in everything I choose to do, and be proud of what I spearhead and bring to the table on my own, even if backing is scarce.

I'll do my best! As a start, I'm proud that I managed to archive all my events on this site! I miss streaming already, but I'm not in the best shape to do it at the moment. I'll come back as soon as I can (once my sore throat and cough lets up).

Hydro approached me a while back to be a part of his new talkshow, Hydro Talk! And I failed to read the description before moving forward with the invitation. On the day-of, right before the stream (while we were already in voicechat no less), I noticed the thumbnail read 'By an introvert, for introverts' and I had to sheepishly let Hydro know... I was in fact an extrovert. Lol! In any case, he decided we could still move forward with it, so I hope you enjoyed this imposter-of-a-guest crashing this talkshow!

A while back, an anonymous donor donated $100 during stream! It was a super random occurrence and I didn't expect it at all! (In fact, I half expected it might have been charged back after...) But a few days later, a friend of mine contacted me to say we were featured in Xen's video. Thank you Xen for the kind donation!

I didn't intend for this event to be so big but it was major major major major-!
I'm not sure what I expected, but whatever it was, the henchbunnies truly blew things out of the water this Subathon ;; I was unable to do 24 hours straight thanks to needing to keep up my sleep schedule (since I am a working adult-) but really wanted to try streaming for 24 hours because I hadn't done it before. We managed to surpass that (and had to thanks to subs adding to the timer), but spreading it out over many days made it a lot more manageable. 4 years in, what a milestone!

In the end, we hit a total of 640 subs, or an equivalent of 1894 points. Just 1 goal shy from funding our model upgrde and many times more than I ever anticipated! It was almost 3 times the support we garnered during my last outfit debut! A lot of it was probably attributed to a much longer uptime, but still!

I'm not a fan of horror, but I still wanted to do something with surreal flavor for Halloween!
Since one of my favourite characters is Alice, I decided to make every Wednesday of October 2024 an episode of Down The Rabbit Hole. A visual novel-like adventure intro accompanying a series of streams which ties in to a bigger narrative! The plot was simple, Alice (me) fell down a rabbit hole and met a few curious characters along the way. These characters were my guests -- The Cheshire Cat, The Mad Hatter, and the Red Queen. I'm so so grateful to Kochi, Min and Ari who readily took up the roles for the show!

This was more of a community engagement event rather than a fundraising event. So many prizes for participation were given away! I tried to incorporate a diverse set of challenges so that we could challenge our community in different ways. From Hime-related quizzes, to looking for a good cat video, designing new minions for the red queen, and a TETR.IO Challenge! We had all the things I loved rolled up into the month. We ended off with a cosplay unboxing stream and Halloween countdown, a great time!

Thank you henchbunnies for participating in this somewhat strange project. I hope to bring more fun times for us in the future!
